FREDRIC F. AZRAK, ESQ.

MEMBER NJ, NY and WASHINGTON, D.C. Bar

 

              Is a native of Passaic County, NJ, graduating from Rutgers University with a BA in History, and a minor in Political Science.  Subsequently graduating Samford University, Cumberland School of Law with a Juris Doctorate, Mr. Azrak is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court of Appeals and the Appellate Division of the Superior Court.  Mr. Azrak is also admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as Washington, D.C.

              Fredric F. Azrak served and was Honorably Discharged from the US Coast Guard.

              An avid community activist, Mr. Azrak’s involvements include: founder, former chairman, Pequannock Valley Chamber of Commerce, former vice-president, Pequannock Valley Rotary Club, member, Greater NJ Estate Planning Council, NJ Planning Officials Association, Pequannock Township

Fair Housing Committee, Pequannock Township Businessmen’s Association, Montville NJ Rotary Club, Pequannock Township Republican Club as well as the Morris County and NJ State Bar Associations.

Mr. Azrak’s business and litigation expertise have enabled him to practice on the national level throughout the United States.  Under his supervision, the firm currently serves several international corporations.

              As the founder of Azrak & Associates, Fredric F. Azrak continually strives to guide his firm toward providing an exceptionally broad range of quality legal services to the individuals and business community, which it serves.

              A frequent lecturer on topics from real estate to complex litigation, Fredric Azrak is married and, with his wife, Kathy, has two children.  They reside in Pompton Plains.

 

PETER V. McARTHUR, ESQ.

Received his BA in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Glassboro State College and his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan and is licensed in all Courts within the State of New Jersey

              Peter V. McArthur is a former Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Summit and a former Associate Counsel to the Summit Housing Authority.  He has 20 years experience in the general practice of law and during his tenure with Azrak & Associates has concentrated in the areas of municipal land use, real estate, civil litigation, wills, estate planning and criminal law.

              Peter V. McArthur is actively concerned with community service having held the position of President of the Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills, is the former Chairman of the Staff Parish Committee and the current Chairman of the Church's Administrative Council of Bishop Janes United Methodist Church. For the past five years he has managed the Basking Ridge Little League including two years as a coach in the League’s Summer Tournament team program. He has also served on the Board of Trustees for Newbridge Services and is the current Vice President. Peter V. McArthur also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pequannock Valley Chamber of Commerce.

              Peter V. McArthur is married and resides in Basking Ridge with his wife and son.

             

JOHN A. SNOWDON, JR., ESQ.

MEMBER NJ BAR

 

Has practiced law for 31 years in both criminal and civil areas.  As a trial attorney for the Office of the Public Defender and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, he has tried to completion over 500 Superior Court cases and has appeared in the Appellate Division and Supreme Court of New Jersey. 

              He received his Juris Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University The Dickinson School of Law.  He has taught and lectured for the New Jersey Bar Association, William Paterson University and Passaic County Police Academy.

              Most recently he was the chief of the financial crimes unit charged with the investigation and prosecution of financial crimes, insurance fraud and governmental corruption.  During his tenure in the trial unit, he prosecuted most of the major high impact crimes in Passaic County, including such cases as the “Hail Mary” murder cases, and has appeared on both national and local media.

              John A. Snowdon, Jr. and his wife have two sons.

 

JAMES T. GIBBONS, ESQ.

MEMBER NJ BAR

 

              James T. Gibbons was born in Newark, New Jersey.  He received his primary education in public and parochial schools in Montclair, Princeton and Lawrence Township, New Jersey as well as Easton, Maryland.

              He graduated from Colgate University in 1972, with a B.A. in Economics.  In 1975, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  He is licensed to practice law in the municipal, State and Federal Courts in New Jersey.

              During the 1975-1976 Court term he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable David D. Furman, J.S.C (Chancery Division).  Thereafter, he became associated with and ultimately a partner in a firm practicing corporate law where he was the lead attorney in land use, administrative matters and handled major transaction work, financing and refinancing, including E.D.A. financing; matrimonial and litigation in all courts.

               Opening his own practice in 1985 he maintained a broad general practice business.

               In 2000, he became General Counsel to Cargo Logistics, Inc., a family of companies, where he provided legal advice to a multi-million dollar logistics and warehousing company, servicing various U.S. government letter agencies, including the I.R.S., the D.O.D and Homeland Security (Customs).

                He is the father of two daughters. 

 

MATTHEW H. RUDD, ESQ.

MEMBER NJ BAR

 

              Matthew H. Rudd is licensed in New Jersey since 1985.  He resides with his wife and two sons in Oakland, New Jersey.  For the last nine years he has practiced general law with a specialty in collection law.  He lectures for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education on the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

             He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1978 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1984.  After graduating from law school he clerked for the Honorable John A. Marzulli in Essex County Superior Court Civil Part.  Thereafter, he served as an Essex County Assistant Prosecutor from 1985-1987.

              Until the fall of 1998 he maintained a general law practice in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.  During that time he handled all types of matters including real estate, civil and criminal litigation and matrimonial and municipal land use matters.  

               Active in Oakland Government, he served as a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for four years and on the town’s Planning Board for four years.

                 Commencing in the fall of 1998, he concentrated his practice in consumer collection litigation. 

                 Elected chairman of the Special Civil Part Committee for the State Bar Association providing input during the Court rule changes in 2000.  Starting in 2000 he volunteered his time to ICLE providing lectures throughout the state on debt collection and FDCPA compliance and as part of the required courses for attorneys.
